Children are a blank canvas exploding with potential. I love seeing what they can do with a little direction. And the smile on their faces when they learn/experience something new is just priceless! The Centre provides that safe place for families to interact, that may not have otherwise met. I love advocating for families to be the best they can be and the AAFRC assists me in the process.
I believe that it is important for families to make friendships and have access to play spaces where they can meet other families. Especially in rural communities, it can be a life saver for some moms/dads to be able to go out and connect with other parents. AAFRC programs offer a great play space and allow parents to participate in programs at no cost.
I am passionate about AAFRC because of the impact that the centre made on my life as a parent and the growth and development of my children. I want to share the experience that we were fortunate to have with as many families as possible. I love seeing how children and parents grow and change when they come to the centre.
